March 2014 Featured Artist: Cutbank

Cutbank, in some form or fashion, has been making music for 2 years now so it’s about time they put out an album.

“The Backroads” is inspired and colored by the band’s experiences living in the American West. Things happen, people act stupidly, laugh their asses off, get angry, screw up, get drunk and learn… all in the context of the cities, mountains, rivers, oceans, forests and deserts of the Pacific Northwest. These stories and their settings are inextricable from one another.
